\u201cSome Days Are Diamonds<\/em>\u201d was written by Dick Feller in 1976. He first recorded the song but it didn\u2019t succeed in topping the charts. In 1981, the legendary country singer and \u201cTake Me Home, Country Roads<\/em><\/a>\u201d singer John Denver covered Feller\u2019s song. Denver included \u201cSome Days Are Diamonds\u201d in his album entitled\u00a0Some Days Are Diamonds<\/em>. Since Denver covered Feller\u2019s song it became a hit. It peaked at\u00a0No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Song<\/em><\/a>\u00a0Charts in 1981, remaining on top for 18 weeks. Furthermore, it also peaked at\u00a0No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary<\/em><\/a>\u00a0songs in 1981 too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSome Days Are Diamonds<\/em>\u201d is a song about a man going through life without the woman he loved. He sometimes manages each day fine which when translated it\u2019s called\u00a0some days are diamonds<\/em><\/strong>. However, some days he misses her. He feels sad or he\u00a0probably feels nothing, just like a stone, hard and cold. There is a part of the song where he mentioned that I can see \u201cthere\u2019s a danger, in becoming what I never thought I\u2019d be,<\/em><\/strong>\u201d probably the man in the song could hurt someone or himself. Usually, when we go through breakups we feel like the man in the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have days that are bright and shiny like a diamond. Then there are also days we are cold and hard. Furthermore, we change when someone hurt us. We either hurt ourselves or we hurt our future relationships. Yet, for some after a breakup, they change and become a better person and wiser when it comes to love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
