Produced by Mark Ralph (who previously worked with the Scottish&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/tag\/mercury-prize\">Mercury Prize<\/a>-winners on 2013\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/reviews-franz-ferdinand-14708-323711\">\u2018Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action\u2019<\/a>), the album comes with launch single \u2018Audacious\u2019: a life-affirming glam-rock stomper that speaks of the band\u2019s confidence at the DNA of the new record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn some ways, it is more audacious musically than some of the things we might have done in the past,\u201d Kapranos told&nbsp;<em>NME<\/em>. \u201cThe verses are very dry and kind of lo-fi, then it hits with the chorus.
