“After realizing a break up was imminent, I wrote this song to convince myself that everything would be fine,” Cyn tells ELLE.com of the brave and bittersweet ballad. As you can tell from the song’s gently tenacious lyrics\u2014”If I don’t have you, at least I’ll still have me”\u2014the singer has also developed some sage advice for getting through romantic strife: “Focusing on who I am and where I\u2019m headed made me feel less empty and more like I would make it through this heartbreak\u2014finding sanctuary in myself was my safest bet.\u201d Nothing could be a better cure for a torn-up heart\u2014and thanks to Cyn, you have the perfect soundtrack to go along with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
