On \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/SfnaGohBIf8\">Fullmoon<\/a>,\u201d author Paul Bowles, who died in 1999, is heard reading a passage from his novel\u00a0<em>The Sheltering Sky<\/em>\u00a0(the movie version of which Sakamoto scored). \u201cBecause we don\u2019t know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well, yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really.\u201d Friends of Sakamoto\u2019s from all over the world then read out Bowles\u2019 words, each in their own language.
