« Sei nell’anima is not an autobiographical film». Of course? “No it is not. I wanted to do what I wanted. As always. Not a film about my life.” And you look at her, without understanding. Because, in short, paper sings: this film inspired by the autobiography Cazzi mie by Gianna Nannini arrives on Netflix from May 3rd , and the whole story revolves around the first thirty years of the singer’s life. It’s a biopic, not a remake of Hansel and Gretel . But she, “Gianna”, as they call her in the film, does not allow replies also because in her life she has never followed fashions: let alone if she starts now when, with everything she has achieved, she certainly doesn’t need to prove anything . So, what is Six in the Soul ? At first glance, still quoting Gianna, we could say that it is the result of “a long pain in the ass” courtesy of Cinzia TH Torrini. Apparently the director of Elisa di Rivombrosa has a rock groupie soul, a bit of a stalker, because she began to closely mark “Gianna” by waving it under her nose, every two by three, this script. Come on, come on and come on, in the end Nannini gave in: «I read it and said to myself: beautiful», she admits. «I met the producer a couple of times but inside I said to myself: it can’t be done anyway, because they’ll never find whoever plays me».
