Morning song #Alessia Cara, Norah Jones #I’m In Trouble

Alessia Cara is here with her first live album Love or Lack Thereof, and it features some of her most iconic love songs to date. I’m talking stripped-down versions of your favorite Cara love songs, beautifully reimagined with the help of jazz elements. When it comes to strutting the good stuff, let’s just say that Cara knows how to walk the talk, because every reimagined version of a song on Love or Lack Thereof seem to somehow exist completely outside of the original. Not many artists can take what they’ve created, rip it open, and reconstruct it anew, but this was exactly what Cara achieved with the live recording. The “Scars to Your Beautiful” hitmaker has been in the spotlight for over a decade, and in Love or Lack Thereof, she concisely presents this with 10 tracks that represent her journey throughout her storied career. The project consists of 12 tracks in total, with a brand new addition, titled “I’m In Trouble,” (and its LOLT remix), among the mix.

Prior to its release by Def Jam Records on March 20, Cara heavily promoted it with her fans, writing, “Love or Lack Thereof, a live album of my past love and heartbreak songs, reimagined as jazz/soul records. plus a new song.” She then added, “wanted to do something special for 1 year of L&H (Love & Hyperbole) and 10 years of music. pulled this together in just 3 days thanks to a super talented group of people.”
